Mark C.
A retired United States Marine Gunnery Sergeant with twenty one years of active duty service. Mark’s primary military occupational
skill (MOS) is 0369 Infantry Platoon leader. In addition to Mark’s primary (MOS) he holds numerous secondary (MOS’S) some of them
being 8530 range coach, 8531 primary marksmanship instructor, 8532 small arms weapons/combat weapons instructor. During
Mark’s 21 year career he served in many operational units and instructor billets. Mark served 7&1/2 years in all three of the Marine
Corps FAST, Companies Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team where he was a platoon sergeant for 5 independent world wide operational
platoons. He also served as the Operations Chief & Company Gunnery Sergeant for 3rd FAST Company. In addition to the billets stated
above, Mark also served as (SNCOIC) Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Marine Corps Designated Marksmanship School
located at Dam Neck VA. In the spring of 2007 Mark retired from the Marine Corps and took a position as an independent contractor
instructor at (AFETA) Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity Department of Defense. He currently serves as a certified lead
firearms instructor for the DOD. Mark has recently opened his small company Combined Firearms Training with the intent to provide
good quality, effective, practical and affordable training to our law enforcement community.
Tim
U.S. Navy from 1984 -2004. Nineteen years of which he was designated as a 5326 U.S. Navy Seal with a primary rank of
independent duty corpsman (I.D.C.)/18 Delta Medic. During his time in the Navy he served at Naval Special Warfare Development
Group (NSWDG) 1989-1996. Some of his primary positions are as follows but not limited to: Range Safety Officer (RSO), Range
Safety Officer in Charge (RSOC) Demolition Range Safety Officer Demolition Range Safety Officer in Charge Fire and movement
Range Safety Officer in Charge Close Quarter Combat (CQB) Range Officer in Charge During his career he has trained both
domestic and foreign personal Live Fire CQB Training, Live Fire Immediate Action Drills (IAD) Training Live fire assaults/raids
and ambush training. Live fire sniper training to include building to building shots in downtown Los Angeles Tim retired as a
chief petty officer from the Navy in 2004. In 2005 he took a position as an independent contractor as a firearms instructor at the
Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity (AFETA) for the Department of Defense where his primary duties include pistol, rifle,
shotgun, land navigation, and field medical training.
Randy
Randy is a 24 year veteran with James City County Police Department. A 1988 graduate of the 50th Basic Law Enforcement
Academy. Randy’s primary assigned duties were Patrol Division. Randy is a current NRA Law Enforcement Patrol Rifle Instructor and
certified in handgun and shotgun. Randy is also a certified factory Armorer for Glock Springfield, Bennelli, and AR-15, M16 and M4 weapon systems.
He has joined Combined Firearms Training to help develop the most current training courses needed by Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies.
Mark
Retired from the U.S. Government as a Senior Executive Service officer in December 2012 after 24 years of service.
He also served seven years on active with the U.S. Army and additional 19 in the U.S. Army Reserves. As both an enlisted
man and officer, he developed and conducted firearms training on weapons systems ranging from pistols to 20mm cannons.
Currently, he serves as a firearms instructor at the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity
(AFETA), Camp Peary, Virginia.

Everett
United States Navy SEAL, Senior Chief Petty officer (SOCS) with 26 years of active duty service in December, 2012. As a Senior Enlisted Advisor, he developed Naval Special Warfare tactics, techniques and procedures; planned and led training exercises; and led worldwide Special Warfare elements during multiple combat deployments in OEF, OIF and Operation Fervent Archer

Rick
13 year veteran of the US Naval Special Warfare, SEAL. Rick’s secondary responsibility over the past 20 years has been in the
combat medical field. Other specialties include Breacher/Methods of entry, Military Free Fall, and Combat Diving. After separating
from the Navy in the fall of 2007 Rick worked as an independent contractor supporting the global war on terror. Currently he is working
as an independent contractor instructor/medic at (AFETA) Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity Department of Defense. He
currently serves as a certified lead firearms instructor for the DOD, as well as a cadre member for Combat Medical course.
Craig
Retired United States Army Master Sergeant with twenty one years of active duty service. Craig’s primary military occupational
skill (MOS) is 11B Infantry First Sergeant. In addition to Craig’s primary (MOS) he holds a secondary (MOS) as a B4 Sniper Instructor.
During Craig’s twenty one year career he served in many operational units and instructor billets. Craig served fifteen years in 3rd
Ranger Battalion holding positions from Rifle Squad Leader, Heavy Weapons Squad Leader, Rifle Platoon Sergeant, Rifle Company
First Sergeant. Craig deployed seven times to combat zones in Iraq to support Joint Special Operations Command. As for Instructor
billets Craig served four years as a Senior Ranger Instructor, Long Range Reconnaissance Senior Instructor, and Senior Scout Sniper
Instructor. In the fall of 2012 Craig took a position as an independent contractor instructor at (AFETA) Armed Forces Experimental
Training Activity Department of Defense. He currently serves as a certified firearms instructor for the DOD.
Lee
He retired as a United States Navy, Chief Warrant Officer FOUR (7151/SEAL) with 26 years of active service 30 September 2012. After serving a two-‐year enlistment as a United States Army Infantryman, he served an additional 24 years in the United States Navy as US Navy SEAL.
As both a Senior Enlisted Leader and an Officer, he developed, executed and managed training, and led world wide deployable Naval Special Warfare elements. His firearms and Range Officer qualifications include:

Christopher
Adam has spent the past thirteen years in law enforcement serving the Commonwealth of Virginia in various
capacities that began with the Department of Corrections, the Virginia Department of State Police and currently
as an adjunct instructor with Texas State University under the Advance Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training
Program. While holding the rank of Trooper he served as a member of the Division One Tactical Team operating
in the roles of Senior Breacher and Tactical Medicine coordinator. He currently holds the designation of High
Threat Protection Specialist and served on the Executive Protection Unit with the responsibility of the
protection of all visiting dignitaries and the Governor and First family of Virginia. After completing
two operational tours and traveling in more than 25 countries, Adam was assigned to the Tactical
Operations Unit where he was a Senior Instructor and responsible for the development and implementation
of all tactical/specialty training ranging in variety from Officer Survival for the Bureau of Field
Operations / Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Basic School. Low Visibility Operations, Tactics for
Special Agents and SWAT, Combatives, Evasive Driving and Firearms. He holds instructor certifications
from the Federal Law.
Chuck
Chuck is a retired Infantry Officer (USMC) with twenty-two years active duty service. While on active duty he served
in multiple Infantry Battalions to include the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment where he was responsible
for leading and training a 50-man globally deployable anti-terrorism and security force that responded to multiple
crisis events in Haiti, Cuba, Bahrain and Kuwait (Desert Shield/Storm). Chuck has served on Special Duty overseas
in support of the State Department and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) where he coordinated and conducted
bilateral training, security and deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a certified NRA Law
Enforcement Firearms Instructor and currently works as a certified DoD firearms instructor at the (AFETA) Armed
Forces Experimental Training Activity.
Matt
Matt is a retired First Sergeant (USMC) with twenty-four years of active duty service. He served in Combat
Arms units and Special Duty assignments overseas with the State Department. Throughout his military career,
Matt served in multiple senior leadership and training positions. In addition, he obtained a Bachelor of
Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) while on
active duty. For the past fourteen years Matt has worked as an independent contractor instructor at
(AFETA) Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity, Department of Defense (DoD). He is a certified
lead firearms instructor for the DOD as well as a certified NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor.
To round out his extensive firearms expertise, Matt continues to maintain his extensive experience in
instructing field craft, hunting and survival techniques.
Mark P
Mark retired from the Allentown Police Department in 2005.
His assignments included Patrol as an officer on a rotating platoon, and
a steady tactical shift to address high crime areas. He was also assigned to the vice squad
for 5 years doing undercover drug and prostitution investigations. He was promoted to a Platoon
Sergeant following those assignments. During this time he began teaching at the departments
state certified Academy more often and was eventually moved to the training division. He was
certified as a general instructor as well as Firearms, Use of force, Defensive Tactics and
Physical Fitness. He finished his career as the primary Firearms Instructor and Assistant
Director of training at the Allentown Police Academy. He has been through numerous
schools and training regarding Firearms and Use of Force. Prior to his retirement, he began
working for the NRA in the Law Enforcement Division. His duties included administering their
Firearms Instructor schools and he is certified in all disciplines. While at the NRA, he also
assigned to review and approve lesson plans and courses of fire submitted by agencies for
approval. He continues to teach for the NRA and at the Academy as well as a Combined Firearms
Training (CFT) and has retained his PA post certifications.
